But logically, I can't see this being anything other than a tough fight. Matter of fact, this fight, stylistically, reminds me of Chavez/Taylor, except the relentless, come forward infighter with massive power is the younger Cotto, while Mosley is playing the Taylor role, except older and with more power.
My early prediction is Cotto via tremendously hard-fought decision (UD, MD, or SD) which he probably earns just by outworking Mosley (and Mosley's not exactly passive either). | I really do not see Cotto outworking Mosley. I think this will be the fight of the year and that mosley speed will be a little to much for Cotto as he will be able to quickly counter Cotto's powerful body shots with power shots of his own to the head of Cotto. While I would love to see a Cotto vs DLH fight I want to see a SSM vs PBF match even more.

I'll be happy with whoever wins this fight, I just wanna see it be a good one. It definitely is yet another FOTY-contender (though honestly, I can't see anything that can beat Vasquez/Marquez II). But can you guys believe it? We're getting Calzaghe/Kessler and Cotto/Mosley on BACK-TO-BACK WEEKENDS. And the great thing about it is that we only have to pay for one of them!
By the way, I hear a fight between Jorge Arce and Martin Castillo may be on the undercard, as well as a potential fight between IBF Jr. Flyweight champ Ulises Solis and the winner of the upcoming Ivan Calderon/Hugo Cazares fight for Cazares' WBO Jr. Flyweight title. But bear in mind, I like the little guys, I love watching fights from 118 on down.

I say Mosley via Split Decsion. Cotto is gonna work the body but Mosley is going to out work him. I would love to have Cotto win he is my favorite fighter but I dont think that he will win. FOTY canadite for sure.
PBF will win via UD

I agree, no way Cotto is going to KO or TKO Mosley. Mosley has only 4 losses, and I don't believe any were from a stoppage. Who ever wins this is winning by decision. If the Mosley from the year 2000 shows up, he is going to win. But youth is hard to bring back.

My best bet would be that he moves up to 112 or possibly even 115, where he can get fights with guys like Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Koki Kameda (both unlikely), Takefumi Sakata, Daisuke Naito, Nonito Donaire, Omar Narvaez, Jorge Arce, Vic Darchinyan, Martin Castillo, and Cristian Mijares. Bigger fights, less weight to cut means that a rematch with Ivan Calderon is very unlikely to happen unless the money was just right. If anything, Cazares might be able to coax WBO Flyweight titlist Narvaez into a fight in the U.S. on someone's undercard.

| my opinion
a prime mosley would make a mockery out of cotto....unfortunately hes has slowed down significantly....if he can stand on the outside, jab cotto away and find open combinations he will be able to stun cottos relentless pursuit
i love mosley but i think cotto by SD
id like to state that im with everybody here on the hating of pbf but i think hes going to avoid the brawling no style having hatton and cruise to a UD...i dont think hes going to underestimate hatton because he loves his money and arrogance too much to make that mistake
now my optimal variation of this is mosley beating cotto and then destorying pbf due to his superior ring leadership and power and perhaps somehow de la hoya wanting to avenge his loss to trinidad fighting the new purto rican sensation cotto and most likely losing by a body shot and that of course leaves hatton vs pbf (which pbf would never take because hes too much of a poontang)
