Pavlik vs Calzaghi
 

Who would win and why?

I really find this hard to call but I picked joe because of his speed. It really could go either way in my honest opinion.

our we thinking of 2 different guys. im not trying to be a smart ass but is it spelled Joe Calazaghe

i would have to give it to calzaghe to me pavlik looks allot like kessler very straight likes to throw power punches but makes them look like fast punches im not saying this just because im a brit personally i dont like calzaghe to much but i think hopkins would be a much better match up and i dont think i could call that as easily as pavlik so calzaghe by UD or even earily KO

Right now, it has to be Calzaghe. Pavlik is still a young guy who's improving every time out and has monstrous power in both hands, but Calzaghe's just a master boxer who's also tough as hell. This fight would look very similar to Calzaghe/Kessler. As much as I like Pavlik, Calzaghe would outbox him to a clear, but competitive, decision.

Calzaghe stops him TKO in 6-8 because of his lightning hands.
