| SPOILER!!! Pacman vs. Diaz
Wow!!!
I haven't seen that lopsided of a beatdown in a long time. Manny looked fast, and had great movement. I was glad the fight was over in nine. Diaz took a horrible beating.
Congrats Manny!

Man this sucks. I have been on the road a long time now and am missing these good fights. Im stuck in a place called Coudersport PA., and had nowhere to watch the fight. I saw pics of Diaz today on the internet and he looked rough. Hope they are reairing the fight by the 18th when I go home.

Manny is so damn quick...not only his quickness, but carries a pop w/ it! Dude's GREAT!
Listening to Lampley....if the question is Pacquiao or Calzaghe for P4P tops. I think it's an easy choice! Pac-Man.

Why? The cut? They had the bleeding under control. Yeah, he was getting worked, but he hadn't gone down. The only reason I would have seen to stop it would have been the cut, but the doctor said it was fine TWICE.
Diaz was standing in the middle of ring most of the fight. It wasn't like he was on the ropes, taking shot after shot, hanging on. Yeah, he was taking 8 punch combo's, but out in the middle of the ring.
No reason to stop it.

It was the best Manny Pacquiao performance I've seen since he knocked out Morales in their second fight, and possibly since he beat down Barrera back in '03. It was like he was channeling Marquez a bit in this fight. His hands were fast as all hell, but his speed seemed more under control. I've never seen him rip combinations like that before, ever.
I hear Arum wants Manny to defend his title in November against Edwin Valero, who would move up from 130. After that though, I want him to fight the winners of Casamayor/Marquez, Campbell/Guzman, and Diaz/Katsidis, in any order, before he starts thinking about fighting Hatton.
If he keeps fighting like this though, we could very well be seeing one of the all-time greats entering his peak. I'm still in awe right now.
