I agree with Harlem and Afro in regards to Williams. At the moment, he is sort of the Max Schmeling to Margarito's Joe Louis and he must be defeated if any claim to being the real welterweight champion can be made. But again, don't forget about the promotional issues between Arum and Goosen that could prevent the fight being made. Goosen chucked and jived Arum around in trying to get Williams with Kelly Pavlik. In the interim though, if Margarito doesn't get a fight with Oscar de la Hoya, Arum says there's a good chance he would face the winner of Judah/Clottey, especially if it's Clottey since Arum promotes him.

Personally, I'd probably prefer Judah since he's a new opponent, a new matchup and probably makes for a better fight, but Clottey can most definitely win that fight Aug. 2. It's a good consolation prize, Margarito vs. the Judah/Clottey winner, but the fight I want is the Williams rematch. Let's leave Andre Berto alone, since he still hasn't stepped up yet.

Normally when I watch fights, I'm not near my computer, but I was watching at home tonight. Surprisingly, most of my friends aren't crazy boxing fans like me, but they would watch Pacquiao fights (I have a lot of Filipino friends). So I watched the fight by myself. Well worth it too, I gotta get my hands on a copy of this fight and rewatch it again. Odd, I pretty much tuned out Lampley, Steward, and Kellerman for the most part, since I was doing the RBR.

My scoring is a lot different from other people's scoring, but I tended to get more or less within ballpark of the official scores. The judges had Margarito ahead at the stoppage, two by scores of 96-94, while the other had it a 95-95 draw. ESPN.com had Cotto up by 96-94, I believe.
Sorry to be so late to the party but I FINALLY got tot see the fight. There is no way Cotto was ahead before the TKO!

PBF (lucky bastard) Deal w/ that kind of pressure. No way!

Edit: No WAAAAAAYYY PBF's pitty pat BS affects Margarito! Stay retired PBF !!!!!!
