Thought I would make a prediction thread for this fight. Or more accurately, just a thread where everyone guesses which round Klitschko finally takes Rahman out.

Ill say Wladimir throws only jabs until around round 3, where he throws exactly 3 right hands the whole round(he pisses me off with that shit), and then finally begins to let his hands go and puts Rahman down for good in the 7th.

Klitschko 7th round KO.

I would be really surprised if Hasim made it to the 7th. He has taking some beatings in his career, his chin isn't what it once was, his speed is gone, well whatever speed he once had is gone lol.

If he makes it to the 7th it isn't because he is good or he trained hard its because Wlad is being lazy.

Wlad and his brother are my 2 favorite HW's an anyone from News would know that but even i have problems with him being lazy.

He has a good jab, but he needs to mix it up, as his corner always yells at him, jab jab then let your hands go. He has good speed for a HW and damn good power.

If he wanted he could come out an fucking squash HAsim in under a round, but he won't. He will paw at him an paw at him then boom it will be over.

I say 5th round, either by straight up ko or his corner stops it from a beating.

maybe it's just me, but it looked to me like Rashman was there for a check, not a fight. He never once tried to really fight.

because he sucks now. Not that he was ever a real good boxer. Like they pointed out during the fight is that he only looks for that 1 punch.

I watched him struggle against bad fighters.

He should retire before someone hurts him.

Thanks man. Wlad just doesn’t throw enough right hands to knock anyone out in the early rounds. You really can’t blame him though. That jab is pretty effective.

Going back to your post on why there isn’t more enthusiasm from the American public for Klitschko, I think this fight is a perfect example of why. Wlad is a methodical fighter who isn’t going to trade punches. Also, the reality is there isnt anyone out there to trade punches with! The next two contenders for the KO brothers are former cruiser weights. Wlad and Vitali are both talented boxers, they just dont have many legit challengers.

Rahman doesn't even really look for that one punch, you got to MAKE that one punch happen sort of like Sugar Rashad did against Chuck, you got to work counters or work levels to get a guy to open up. I mean what did Rahman do? He should've went for the body ESPECIALLY with that longer reach, he stood there getting hit. Wlad's jabs have so much power, I mean he ends fights with just jabs and his right hand is so much more powerful Rahman had no chance. I loved his fight against Oleg Maskaev, because that's one guy that sticks it to you and Rahman held his own for a while, but Oleg is a brute and fights to the end.

You could hate on Klitschko but that guy is the truth. He went all out against Byrd twice and took it to him as he did against Lamon Brewster who talked more crap about Wlad's "glass jaw" than Larry Merchant and what happened? BUST! All hands down, Wlad is the true HW champion.
