Default Nikolai Valuev vs. Evander Holyfield *spoiler*

Valuev won a decision and it was total B.S. another reason why boxing is dying fixed fights, I wonder how much the Russian mob paid those Judges?

Valuev won 4 rounds at best, you guys have to check this out this fight, Valuev was a total dud and someone should look into this fight, charges should be laid and WBA should hang their heads in shame.

Valuev was horrible and I couldn't believe he won. There is no one in the world the could justify Valuev winning that fight. And I totally agree with you someone needs to look into the judging in that fight.

I doubt the mob had anything to do with this but what the hell was that? I watched the fight during a replay without knowing the final outcome and i heard the decision and i am like "...WHAT?!?!?!" yeah idk what fight they judges were watching. they were probably looking at the replay of Bisping vs Hamill.

Boxing is a dying sport and this is why.

Gone are the days of Tyson, Berbick, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, Hagler, Hearns, etc

WBA to review Valuev-Holyfield

FightNews.com has learned that the WBA Championship Committee has ordered a panel of judges to review the contest between WBA heavyweight champion Nicolay Valuev and Evander Holyfield, for the WBA Heavyweight title, held December 20th in Switzerland. The source stated that the WBA is taking this action “Due to the respect for the opinion of the fans and the media.” Valuev (50-1, 34 KOs) retained his title with a majority decision over legendary ex-champion Holyfield (42-10-2, 27 KOs). Scores were 114-114, 115-114, and 116-112. After the decision was announced, Holyfield received applause from Swiss crowd, while Valuev was notably booed. The WBA Championship Committee will issue a decision in the following weeks.

Here's my question: If someone bet on Holyfield to win, and the WBC comes back and reverses this decision or even just invalidates it, does that mean you win your money?

I had the same thing happen on Sportsbook. I was gonna put $10 on Holyfield to win $50, but I waited too late. Made me curious about what would happen with this situation.
