there was so much hype in sydney for this fight and it ended up lasting only 2 minutes. i think jones underestimated greens ability.

Roy doesn't take anyone lightly, even though he got payed $4 million, Roy isn't the type to take a dive either. But I have seen him get hit by harder punches.

He was outworking Green until he got hit with the right hand. I don't see how that equals underestimating his opponent. It's like saying Maia underestimated Marquardt just because he got taken out by a hard shot moments into their fight.

Roy hasn't really been the same since the weight cut after beating Ruiz. He looked great against Lacy but that guy probably wasn't physically imposing enough to worry about. Roy looked good in this fight until he got hit (in the throat was it?) and I suspect that retirement may be the best thing for him.

what do u mean he was outworking green jones landed maybe 2-3 jabs the fight lasted 1 minute before the actual knockdown, i don't understand your comment of ''outworking green''.
what i mean by saying that he underestimated him was that roy jones had already signed on to fight hopkins before the green fight had even happened. he must have been underestimating him somewhat for the reason that jones was already looking past green to the next bigger pay day in hopkins.

Silva is very very good, dont underestimate him. You see what Overeem is able to do in K1 and Silva is leaps and bounds better.

Nah I still want to see Silva fight Roy Jones Jr. Their styles has the potential to be a work of art.
Besides Silva hasnt fought Vitor yet let alone finished his contract.

Who knows he could very well lose as well before he retires (as he has predicted on more than 1 occassion).

Btw where exactly did that punch land? Anyone else see that?
