they can do stuff like this i guess to make it entertaining but they need some big fight with tons of hype in order to make them wanna watch and get the ball rolling again. these douches want to do as their told by the media basically and thats the only way they will flock to boxing.
Take GSP, Lesnar, and Anderson out of the UFC and the UFC will suffer greatly. A sport rides off star power! It's how it is and it's how it's always been. Tennis is in great shape because of the Federer/Nadal rivalry. Boxing was in good shape when Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Roy Jones, Trinidad, DLH, etc were all in their primes. Now they're all gone and nobody other than Pacman and Floyd have filled the void and even still they haven't really filled it. Where are the superstar heavyweight boxers? There are none.
Same thing could happen to the UFC. Take out the stars and the UFC will be in a real mess. You fail to understand the relevance of superstars in sports.
