Mayweather is the epitome of a DICK. It's almost shocking someone can be like that.

At first, the fight looked FABRICATED. It's like they agreed that on round 4, Ortiz was to rush Mayweather and throw a headbutt. Then after the ref breaks them up, Ortiz was to go up to Mayweather and say he is sorry. That is when Mayweather will one two him for a KO, while the referee is looking elsewhere while continuing the fight. YOU CAN'T DO THAT, YOU CAN'T ALLOW THE FIGHT TO CONTINUE AND BE LOOKING AWAY.

The first punch was impactful, but nothing serious as Ortiz was looking at the ref, kinda almost trying to say, "hey did u see that cheap shot?" and HE STILL KEEPS HIS HANDS DOWN and then Mayweather throws the second punch that KO's him out for sure...

The fight is then stopped and what does Ortiz do, NOT COMPLAIN. He's apologizing for the head butt? WAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT?

Good points. But we knew how Floyd was beforehand. Its one thing if something was fixed, but if someone takes a dive, why let themselves get ko'd? That can have a huge impact on your career, often your never the same. But it has been done before. Id never take a dive, but if I did, I wouldnt let somebody hit me like that.

He and Manny are Icons in boxing, they could go with any boxers, but you might be underestimating how many people really want to see Floyd get clowned.

I think MOST fans would like to see Floyd get slapped around, partly because he's an asshole, partly because he's 42 - 0 and people like seeing those on top get taken down a notch. I'd love to see PacMan put a hurt on Floyd. But ultimately, fan's don't dictate what fights happen. Money and politics do.

It makes some sense if u look at it like this. We know how he was a dick before and how cocky he is. It's almost like he likes to be known as the bad guy. It's like he wants people to hate his guts. That why people buy his ppv's just to maybe see him get ko'd. He knows that gets him money. So he rides on that. Now that this fight was a done deal and he knows people were going to see it, why not do something insane that would have his name be on the media EVERYWHERE. We know he's currently the most talked about man right now in this very moment in the US. He's going to be on the cover of big news websites/ television/ newspapers as opposed to if he would have just beaten Ortiz by UD or something. Then when people buy another fight of his, ppv revenue will be up that ass to see him get ko'd. idk if it was a thrown fight.

to me it seemed like the ref was looking and pointing to the judges to make sure that they knew a point was deducted. He had never actually started the fight back up making mayweathers shots every bit as illegal as the headbutt

Ya it kind of looks like the ref didn't start the fight back up. It's very likely this fight will be overturned to a N/C.

^^ well the announcers indicated that it was legal, because the ref allowed the fight to go ahead and continue. So basically, he did tell them to go ahead and begin fighting.

but he fucked up because you talk to the timer or judges BEFORE you let the fight continue, not while it's going on.

that ref should be fired.

yeah ive re-watched that part of the fight over and over just now. The ref never started the fight back up. That makes those punches illegal and which SHOULD result in a n/c at the least. Not sure on the rules of if an illegal punch ending a fight results in a dq or not

sorta, but it definitely was legal what mayweather did regardless.

Also, the ref should have been in between the two and hold them apart to let the fight go on.

Boxing experts are saying that mayweather was just more experienced and took advantage of Ortiz' inexperience, (he didn't have his hands up when you should have as the rules, and most famous one, protect yourself at all times)

But damn, floyd is such a bitch peace of shit.

All boxing experts are saying the it was legal.
