| Explain illegal elbows
In the Liddell- Jackson fight after Chuck was knocked out and fell down Rampage pounced but noticed he hit kind of a downward/backward elbow that knocked him out the second time. I thought you could only elbow in a forwardtype motion.
So is any type of elbow legal?
Also, don't bring the "whinning about Chuck losing" shit into this thread.

from 12 to 6 is illegal, straight up and straight down with the point of the elbow
if you are in a side mount it is almost impossible to throw an illegal elbow

I dont' go to sherdog so no I didnt' get it from there. I was actually wondering while at the bar I watched the fight at. Again, I'm not denying the loss, but I thought that type of elbow was illegal.
