And yes, I think the fighters should be paid more... but not necessarily Liddell or Jackson.. Give me a fucking break.. Are you fucken Serious. Im with ya with paying the undercard fighters a little more. But common now. Chuck was the TOP MMA Fighters!. Compared to boxing that kind of money he gets is crap.

I heard him in a post-fight intvw once (after diego i think) say that he rarely checks it but guys from his gym manage it for him. regardless, if it did come from one of his people, its a dumb move.

I got news for you, boxers are overpaid as are most athletes. Yep, that is right, I am one of those guys.. Chuck was going to get $500,000 if he won... that means he would have gotten 1 million.. give me a break. Do you have any idea how much of that money could be spent in better areas.

If they started paying fighter higher purses then the quality of fighter would increase. I think the minimum a fighter should make is 50K. Chuck Liddell/Rampage should have made at least 1.5 mill for there fight. I think its horrible how these fighters are getting ripped off.

Amen brother. Most pro athletes are overpaid. Rep'd. And as per Chute's notion that Liddell and Jackson should have gotten 1.5 Mill for their fight, I'm bettin after PPV cut they'll make that if not more.

Not only that, but whoever wrote that seems to think that UFC gets every PPV dollar. That's a joke. They get half, at most. Probably less after buying satellite time for the broadcast itself.
