Will Mriko Cro Cop ever become ufc champion. He stated in an interview after the loss to gonzaga that he is gonna come back better than ever and win the championship and then retire. Well in my opinion i do not see CC becoming Heavyweight champion but what do you guys think?

If the Cro Cop that won the OWGP comes back, there is no doubt in my mind he can be champ. The only 2 really though match-ups for him are Couture and Big Nog, both of whom I think he could beat if he took them as seriously as they need to be

cro cop has all the tools to become the champ. the gonzaga fight was a set back but i think as long as he doesnt get sick of MMA he will one day win the title

i think its been discussed here before but you're new so i won't give you any guff.

see, the thing is i can see cro cop becoming champion, he's definitely able to beat anyone in UFC's heavyweight division with the possible exception of Nog, but i don't know if Dana will give him a title fight if he plans on retiring 4 fights from now. maybe if he signed a contract extension that forced him to fight until he lost the title or something, but that's the reason vera never got his shot because why have a champion that is never going to defend?

Agreed and rep'd. I don't see Cro-cop ever becoming champ of the UFC though. I think Big Nog is on his way to having a very long run at the time.

Why arent AA and Vera, and honestly, even big tim might cause problems for CC as well.

I dont think he will become champ. He will win another fight get someone maybe like Vera an think he dont have to train to beat him and get beat again. Mirko thinks he is better then he really is, meaning he does not need to train to beat some guys. Do not see him being champ anytime soon.
