I just hope he fights CroCop because then he will be forced to put pressure or you might as will start engraving his tombstone.

Fact is, Fedor is the one guy that just about every hardcore MMA fan can say is a complete fighter and has the record to prove it. He's got a few guys that he needs to fight to cement his place in history and leave no one saying what might have been. If he goes to K1 he isn't going to fight the best comp, I believe he truly wants to do that and will land in the UFC at least for 2-3 fights. After he fights a few of the dream matches we all want to see and either cements his legacy or meets his match, I don't believe he'll be happy as a fighter. I think if things weren't going to be worked out with Zuffa, someone would be saying so, especially someone from his camp.

when Jeff Monson has one eye swollen, is gassed, and a foot taller then you and your still backing off and fighting conservatively.. thats fighting not to lose.
When AA is facing a guy who can test his chin, who has an amazing ground game, and has the ABILITY to take AA to the ground.. you dont want to fight aggressive, you dont want to open your body up, AA has always been a counter-puncher and he stayed to his style.. he focused on the takedowns and picked his punches to win the fight.. if he had done what the crowd wanted him to do and gone aggressive, and had gotten taken down it woulda been his own fault for buying into what the crowd wants.. rather then whats going to win him the fight
when he had Werdum hurt, he unloaded on him did he not? Tim Sylvia on the other hand.. he had Jeff Monson hurt, gassed, and had a foot reach advantage.. and what did he do with it?
Same with how Kos use to fight? what do u mean by that?
Jake O Brien got overcriziced cuz a lot of people are Herring fans, yet when you got someone on the ground and your passing guard.. shouldnt you amount some GnP?

yeah you should do some GnP unless your sub D is so horrible youre afraid of getting subbed, which i dont know if his was or not, but that my be the case
and kos got crap for "lay and pray" yet that was the smart fight for him,
and tim was criticized for fighting "not to lose" during his aa fight as well, using his reach , etc. while i didnt enjoy the fight , he did what he needed to do to win

Both fighters got criticized for the AA/Sylvia 3 fight so thats fair
Kos gets more crap for not evolving then he does for fighting not to lose.

but wasnt aa pretty much fighting not to lose? i mean werdum isnt close to as good of a kick boxer as aa, yet aa fought too cautiously imo because he was scared of getting taken down

IMO if AA woulda came out there throwin power punches, Werdum would of slipped a punch and taken him down, and AA would not of lasted long vs Werdum on the ground.. AA had to do his best to keep the fight standing, hes a counter-puncher style, he fought to beat Werdum IMO.. fighting not to lose IMO is if AA would of hurt Werdum and then stepped back but he didnt do that, he stayed on Werdum when he hurt him.
