They might have a Pride PPV this year but its not Pride, you can call it what you like but unless the top quality fighter are there the great match-ups and the rules are the same its not Pride.Its just Lame.

I was a Big fan of Pride I loved Pride but Dana has it in his sweaty palms and is squeezing all the good fighters from it, like a red headed stepson Pride is getting no attention and is being treated like shit.

Dana was asked about PRIDE yesterday and said they "were still figuring it out", all you are giving us is your poorly conceived opinion and trying to present it as fact. Again, stop sidetracking threads with your stupid "PRIDE is dead" obsession and just wait until they give further word on what is happening. If you think you have it all figured out you are sorely mistaken.

Look, we all want to see Fedor fighting again (somewhere under Zuffa). But put yourselves in Zuffa's position. It seems that Fedor wants to be able to fight in other orgs and THAT is his main problem with signing a contract. If Zuffa allows their heavyweight champ to fight in some other organization, under some other (less safe) rules, and Fedor gets a career ending injury than ZUFFA loses their investment. They have to have control over the environment where their fighters compete.

And furthermore, if Fedor (after signing with the UFC) fights in Russia in a K1, Bodog, or even WEC and LOSES then that F's up the whole lineage leading up to the heavyweight belt. And it also allows a competing organization to benefit and profit off of having their fighter "Beat the Baddest Man on the Planet" and claim to, by lineage, hold the UFC/PRIDE Championship Belt.

I'm on Zuffa's side here.

As I said before, everyone has their opinion and pass it off as fact. I love how everyone thinks they paid $60 million for Pride just for the Vids and to kill the other big name in MMA. That makes alot of sense.........why didn't they do this before?

I am not stating fact and never claimed so, and for you saying its "poorly conceived opinion" how poorly is it when Bullock and others have posted articles about zuffa and UFC stopping Pride operations?
Then I read these article and rumors and I come to an opinion similar to things I read and its a "poorly conceived opinion".
You can only come up to a "poorly conceived opinions" when there is no facts or evidence to support those opinions.Just because I believed those opinions before I read those articles doesn't make my opinions less valid than yours.What other evidence do you need July's PPV canceled, all the Pride fighters signing with UFC the sky is falling.

What if Zuffa/UFC stop all Pride operations?
Then would my opinion by ok with you?
