ive read alot of people voicing their opinions especially matt boone's ive watched this fight 15 times.... and in my mind there is no way you could have called Lindland in winner... Lindland should have won but his submission but he went to the crappiest choke in MMA.... and it was defened greatly.... so stop your crying and let the mand learn some BJJ

You said it. These guys claiming what a dominating performance it was by Rampage are the same denial junkies that swore Rampage would knock him out in 1, and that there was no way in hell it would goto round two. Well folks .... your boy barely got by a guy who couldn't bulk up to 205 with 3 months preparation. Congratulations.

Lindland's last fight vs Van Arsdale was at 205 also, so this isn't his 1st fight in that weight class.

As far as the Rampage vs Lindland fight goes, it really could have gone either way. Lindland had Rampage fighting at his pace most of the fight. He had him tied up in the clinch and defending a few submission attempts.

Rampage used his power and aggression to win the fight. A lesser man would have tapped from some of those submission attempts.

yeah thats one way at lookin at it , you could say that , but you could look at it like this , Rampage who wrestled in collage beat a silver medalist olympian thats pretty good .

But with that being said I am not even a big fan of Ramage and picked Linland to win but I respect whut I saw and give rampage his props . linland is no easy guy to beat even if you are 5 lbs heavier then him , thats not enough to heavily influence a fight anyway .

maybe, but Lindland is no walk in the park. He's a very solid fighter who has fought some of the best and trains with some of the best fighters in the world.

I don't know if you have followed Rampage's career, but he hasn't been at his best lately. He really hasn't been the same since Wand KO'd him and left him hanging on the ropes.

Lol. He didn't beat Lindland in wrestling, which believe me isn't possible. he beat him in MMA which being in a higher weight class is a huge deal. so i'm not impressed. bring " Rampage" down to middle weight and watch Lindland dismantle him. They brought a middle weight down who at middle weight was great to face the poster boy for WFA because they thought " Rampage" would really show off his skills, but it didn't happen. Lindland will be dominant at his weight.

Don't get me wrong, Obviously Rampage is a monster. But they thought one slam would be it like usual. it wasn't. So at Lindland's weight Rampage would get destroyed.

in my opinion Rampage did just as much as linland as far as wrestliing or more . lets see Greco roman is largely based on control and anytime matt put him against he cage it was reversed , did you see the slams !!!! matt did better with subs but don't confuse that with wrestling
