Should MMA be an OLYMPIC SPORT?

If they have boxing as an olympic sport and wrestling why not make Mixed Martial Arts an Olympic sport.. it would really help MMA Expand on the scene WORLD WIDE....

that would be awesome.judoand karate and a bunch of other martial arts are already olympic sports so why not have mma?

i think it would be an interesting concept. i'd like to see how you think it might work out, you know what i mean. like would one guy represent each country/promotion/weightclass/etc. i'd definitely watch the olympics if MMA was included.

what country do you think would be the most successful?brazil,USA,Japan, or some other country?

GracieAlumni 05-25-2006 11:00 PM

Probably Brazil... depends on if they send people by orgins of countries you might have some good ones out of the UK... never know.. your guess is as good as mine but its gotta be close between Japan, & Brazil.. maybe a few from the USA...

killerinstinct 05-25-2006 11:02 PM

i think canada wouldn't be bad-GSP,the crow,Cote, others ,but i think the USA would be the best.

they have some Pancration competitions like this already. basically its by national teams that go and compete, dont expect for full MMA in the olympics though
