I could see that fight happening maybe a few years from now. But for Arlovski to earn a shot it'd take him a year or more anyway.

Yeah, his body fat is like nothing, for him to drop 30-40lbs, he'd be dropping way to much muscle....I don't see him doing it.

I don't think you can have a #4 in the near future, they killed this rivalry, with putting #3 soooooooo close to #2.

Arlovski is young so this fight happening is feasible... I just hope that Sylvia drops some fights in a row and is out of the picture by then I can't stand him.

As for Arlovski dropping to LHW, that whole idea is just retarded. The man is a completley ripped up 240, for him to drop 35 lbs he'd lose so much strength and muscle mass it would be stupid. He'd probably do a ton of damage to his body, which is damn near perfect. He'll be fine he'll fight a couple middle tier guys, tear them apart, then win his belt back within two years.

Arlovski is not moving down to 205 lol. If he does, that'd be some shit but it ain't happening.

I agree sometime we'll see Arlovski-Sylvia 4. Arlovski is the only credible challenger for Sylvia they got. Once Monson gets his shot, people will realize how far off the UFC's "top HW contenders" are to Sylvia and Arlovski for that matter. So basically it's just a matter of time until Arlovski earns a fourth fight, and call me crazy - I'd still pick him to win against Sylvia if they fought again.

if there was a Sylvia/AA 4 fight and AA won than there would have to be a Sylvia/AA 5!!!

Wouldn't every single person here like to see Aleksander (the half cyborg brother) come to the UFC and give the HW division a kick in the ass? I would love to see that and than see AA rebuild his status as #1 contender and give him a good fight.

I'd rather see Josh Barnett come back.He was the UFC's HW monster than he got caught taking steroids and ran off to Japan.Come back Barnett please!!!

That too...UFC needs to steal away some of the Pride HW's. They are stacked while UFC sits with 2 guys on top and middling talent underneath them. A guy like Vera is developing and will bring depth, but they need more.

i always knew barnett was at the top of the hw devision, but his victory over alex really surprised me. he has a tough fight comeing up and who do u guys think will win?

there probably wont be an aa vs. sylvia 4 anytime soon, but if aa gets a couple of solid wins, which he probably will, and if sylvia loses his belt, then i can see aa getting a title shot, just not aginst ass hole sylvia.

Rich Franklin cuts 25 to 30 pounds before his fights and he's not exactly a fat bastard....not that I think A.A will drop down to 205.
