| It’s clear as day: the UFC is brand new, and boxing has been around as far back as records date; the UFC is pure violence, while boxing remains a thinking man’s sport; and, the UFC has copious pre-fight drama while boxing has unscripted storylines. The UFC simply offers fun that boxing cannot produce, and that is why it is gaining so much popularity. However, when it comes to what’s new and exciting, one thing is almost always persistent: it gets old very quickly.
this guys know nothing about mma.....i like boxing i watch it all the time but mma is more exciting and i have to say thank for dana white making the ultimate fighter show because thats what got alot of new commers hooked to the ufc now they like pride so we have to say thank you do dana white for promoting ufc better then before.......

| So, one might ask, won’t the UFC start to plant its own roots and then grow from there? The answer, quite frankly, is no. Just think about it: starting a boxing gym is a pretty safe bet to make money. In addition to having people who actually want to box, you have people coming just to get in shape. Starting a UFC gym is so much more risky because people won’t be coming in to shed pounds. Business would depend on hard core male fighters who would have to be willing to sacrifice a year of their life to learn enough to take part in a fight. That doesn’t sound like the greatest money maker in the world. Plus, opening a UFC gym in a country with deep boxing roots would be like trying to introduce cricket to a baseball oriented country---it’s just not going to happen.
you know this guy know nothing because he keeps calling it ufc he think that is what the fighting is called ufc........its mma so you know for a fact he know nothing about the sport

God damnit Cruz you better study up and do your research. This asshole is already studied up since he's writing articles about it. He'll have points ready, all that shit. You're going in blind. This smells of disaster. I can FEEL it.

No no, blind as in unprepared in comparison to this guy. He's obviously done some research - even if it doesn't show in his articles. And we challenged him. So if we don't embarass this guy, not just win, but EMBARASS him - we don't come off looking so well. I just hope you're taking it serious because you got an entire show to worry about still, under a new producer, along with a guest and interview to prepare for.
I did read it, if you'd read this thread you'd know that as I pasted my email response I sent to the dude on page 2 of this thread.
Anyways, I'm confident you guys will do good. No worries.

nope didn't read yours. lol think to yourself who the hell you're talking to. do you really think i'm not already thinking this guy is reading up on everything he can right now?? trust me, i already thought of exactly how i'm going to run that segment and it's going to focus on his article he wrote, if he brings in something new and tried to contradict anything he previously said i'll call him on it and bury him. i'm positive i have enough knowledge now in both sports to bury him but i'm going to brush up anyways, this is going to be a lopsided discussion between us and he's going to regret coming on, especially if he does plug it in his next article like he said. trust me i will go beyond burying him, he'll probably hang up on me before it's ove because it's going to be a verbal beatdown WITH FACTS.

I'd love to be on for that segment. Just in case I can jump in and embarass this guy. I know I can. I guess that's how you feel though too so it makes sense. I really know I could humiliate this guy. We should all be on just in case one of us thinks of something the other wouldn't.
Hold me back, HOLD ME BACK. LEMME AT 'EM CRUZ. LEMME AT 'EM.
