"News on Ken Shamrocks future!

Now heres another rumor that will be proven true in the next week or so...

Rumor has it Ken has signed with the WFA, possibly walking out on a current contract with the UFC, pissing Dana off to once rumored lands. Initially the WFA wanted to set up Bas Rutten VS. Ken Shamrock, however with Bas injured the way he is the October show MAY feature Rampage Jackson VS Ken Shamrock.

HOWEVER, the rumor mill is saying that Ken isnt sure if he wants his october match to be against Jackson, as Rampage is a difficult opponent for anyone...and Ken may want an easier match to stack a win before stepping back up to top competition.

Ken has no plans on retiring, and will continue to compete until he is physically incapable of doing it.

Tank Abbot Vs. Ken Shamrock is a match the WFA is pursuing, and if Tank signs with the WFA...the October might not have Rampage on the card, and feature Abbott Vs. Shamrock.

if ken fights rampage....well, i hope he has been measured for a coffin already. But look on the bright side, there might not be a big enough piece of him left to need a coffin. You could just scoop up what's left with a shovel and a garbage bag.

I wonder if Jackson is thinking about showing the "powerbomb" again?

Ken and Tank are the logical choice for now. He can try to take a bite out of Jackson after a win.

I guess the guy just WONT slip away. Can say I blame him.

I dont blame Shamrock for not wanting the second Tito fight to be has swan song. But come on Rampage? No way this fight happens without Shammy gettin a win or two. I think a Tank fight then a fight with Bas and if Ken wins those you could possibly put him up against Rampage even with that scenario i would imagine Shamrock trying to get a another fight with tito if he could get those wins. So i find it very hard to imagine him ever stepping in there with Rampage but hey you never say never. Good luck to ole Shammy regardless would love to see him atleast make a return to respectibilty before his retirement.

I just checked this thread and Sherdog much like Cruz looking to see if it was on the site or just some jobber on the forums. The way it was written, I knew it was a forum nerd.

I hate to say this, but we might need to implement a new rule - credit sources when posting rumors (especially big rumors) and if the source is just another dude like us who posts on forums it shouldn't be allowed unless you make sure to indicate so in the thread title. "Ken Shamrock to fight in WFA!!" title makes me think it's happening, not that I'll click inside and see someone say some forum dude is posting it from his "close friends and inside sources" or whatever lol.
