Default whats the best MMA program and why

as of here recently we have seen alot of guys in various groups such as IFL UFC PRIDE K-1 heros WFA Strikeforce and more what program has a more well rounded bunch of fighters? i think most would debate weather it was UFC or PRIDE. WFA has an amazing Card comming up... which is your pick and why?

wfas card is amazing for wfa. compared to ufc and pride its average. pride has a much deeper roster with more money. right now if youve seen the last two heros shows it should be argued that heros and pride are the top two not the ufc.

Pride and Heros have been able to bring a variety of competitiors from the whole world, thus better competition. just recnetly has UFC began gettin many non-north american fighters. Pride and K1 still offer the better paycheck, so they tend to attract the better fighters. but now many organizations are pulling off very decent cars. Guys like Lindland, Alistair, Salaverry, and many other now fighting often in smaller shows

its an up & coming show, i havent actually caught their show but they seem to have many good fighters. the problem wit this smaller shows is you gotta wait and see which hold up to time. there is currently an MMA craze starting, so many of this shows are gonna have ot be able to not only bring names but make new top fighters outta their events

icon is superbrawl and theve been around for a good time now. their big names are lawler and mayhem and they had for a while. they diff because they have the ring. they showcase the solid hawii fighters but other then that ROTR is a better hawiian show right now.

Best is the wrong word to use as everyone thinks that their practice is the best.

If I had to suggest the martial arts to train in to get become a mma then it would have to be BJJ & muay thai.

When I was a kid I practiced Judo until I started winning all my tournaments. I then asked to start Karate (after watching wax on, wax off!) & you'd have thought I pissed in the coffee pot. I left Judo & started BJJ, but I would have loved to have done a bit of muay thai.

Sorry people I posted this on the wrong thread. That'll teach me to have vodka with my cereals!

I like them all but look forward to the Pride and Bushido PPVs the most. I like the production of their shows the best. They often have elaborate stages and put alot of money and effort in their shows. They have more top international fighters similar to K-1. They have multiple olympic gold medalists. Their crowds are very respectful and you never hear booing when the fight hits the ground too long or there is a stalemate.

There are good and bad with every organization. I just prefer Pride. I watch all the UFCs too though and I am a big fan of both. I also enjoy the WEC fights on HDNet. They have some entertaining free events. Plus it's in HD, so that's always nice.
