I'm not going to back track my thoughts on their second fight. I still think it was lucky. You know, the kind of lucky we're not allowed to say because it makes perfect sense to say "he threw a punch hoping for it to land, it landed and hurt him...where's the luck?" ...but the second fight I always said was lucky circumstances for Sylvia. Third fight, no excuses. If Arlovski got injured during the fight - that's credited to Sylvia no matter how it happened. Injuries happen in fights, you have to fight through them. The third fight proved Sylvia if nothing else is on Arlovski's level. The fight was close - it wasn't any domination like Sylvia has said in some interviews, but regardless he beat the dude twice and it's a guy that before this trilogy completed people were saying Arlovski could do good against the PRIDE Heavyweights.
No need to take away from Sylvia's accomplishments just because you don't like him. He's a legit top Heavyweight now and arguably the best Heavyweight UFC has.
