As the guy said earlier Horn is a great fighter, but he rarely brings in his A game. Against Liddle he actually promoted himself saying that he was gonna stand & strike! The submission fighter is gonna stand with one of the most dangerous punchers in the sport. Bizaar!

I think it would be a good fight.Horn decided to stand with Chuck b/c his wrestling is so god awful(self-admittedly)he didn't really have a chance in hell to take him down.He had good punch defense and thought he might be able to out strike him since his punches are kinda looping(like Randy and Rampage did)bad strategy.He tried to take the fight down ,but couldn't.

Given Horns recent lackluster performances i think he is going to come in ready to go. he just needs to get that fire back in his eyes. I'm taking horn by sub 3rd round. He has a good chin. With the exception of the Liddell fight i don't think he has ever been knocked out. Guys tough as hell.

The point is Horn is primarily a submission fighter winning something like 50 fights by sub, so that's his strongest asset in the ring.

Liddle is well known as one of the best stand up fighters in the game. Horn said that he wasn't looking to take the fight to the ground & wanted to stand with Chuck. In anyones mind that's gotta be a dumb strategy.

That was the only stradegy he could have.His wrestling sucks and he knew he couldn't take down Chuck so what would you of rather him done?

First I would like to dispel the myth the Liddle can't be taken down. It's happened before & it will happen again. Low kick followed by a shoot, it can be that easy!

It seems to me that Liddle has built a reputation similar to Tyson in his prime, in that fighters are shit scared before they get in the cage & only hope to survive against him.

I'm hoping Babalu shows Chuck respect but not too much respect like Horn & Couture did in their fights. Oh & I'm not taking anything away from those fighters, but any good wrestler/bjj fighter should be able to take anyone down.

Didn't Tito try and prove a point by standing with Chuck too? Stupid shit to try and play another fighters game like that.

Chuck does this to guys because he can get up pretty well from a takedown and won't jump on top of someone when they're on their back.
