| Lindland confirms fight with Horn
Source: Prokarateweekly.com
7/27/06 - As heard first on PKW LIVE last night, Matt Lindland confirmed to listeners that his next opponent will be Jeremy Horn on September 9th’s IFL event in Portland, Oregon. Lindland, who is coming of a controversial loss during last weekends WFA PPV to former Pride FC star Quinton Jackson, discussed the upcoming match up with Horn along with his thoughts on the Jackson fight and his contractual status with the WFA and IFL. Lindland also previewed the upcoming Sportfight 17 card set for August 5th and whether he plans to stay at 205 lbs or drop back to 185 lbs.

That should be a great fight! Tough one to pick -- they're both awesome.

Not a big Horn fan but I think this is a good matchup. The problem with horn is that he never comes to the game fully cocked. I just don't know why but it seems like he doesn't have the heart...Has the skill and them some but it seems he lacks heart...So Lidland will win.

UFC brought him in thinking he would beat chuck, and he has the ability to, but chuck has no plans on ever dropping that belt, so after he lost UFC was like "okay, what do we do with him?" he dropped down and could beat any middleweight they throw at him, but if he's never gonna get a title shot, why have him kill the momentum of future title contenders?

I wanna say Horn by Sub, not sure though. Definitely a good land for the IFL. Horn-Lindland - SUPER fight. Miletich-Gracie - SUPER fight. Wes Sims vs. Daniel Gracie - blah.

Really?
People are getting excited about this fight??
As the guy said earlier Horn is a great fighter, but he rarely brings in his A game. Against Liddle he actually promoted himself saying that he was gonna stand & strike! The submission fighter is gonna stand with one of the most dangerous punchers in the sport. Bizaar!
Lindland? Well, I'd rather watch puddle evaporate.
There is real potential that this will be one of the most boring fights in the history of mma!
