Don Frye on drugs after WHICH fight?
 

On Beatdown Radio they interviewed Don Frye. Don said he "pulled a Mark Kerr" referring to getting hooked on pain killers. He mentioned that he was prescribed (and then got hooked on) these drugs after a particular fight.

Does anybody have a copy of Beatdown or happen to remember which fight it was?

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more guys that won't admit to it, that goes for all sports.

But i wanted to say, i don't know why but i really like that avatar. lol

If I had to guess, I would say it was the shamrock fight because Shamrock had to have broken Frye's akle in that fight.

I think your right, he said it was after a fight wgere he got injured...

THAT MIGHT BE IT, BUT IT COULD BE HIS FIGHT WITH GILBERT EVYEL AT PRIDE 16 CAUSE HE WAS LIMPING LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER AFTER THAT FIGHT AND HE GOT EYE GOUGED REAL BAD....

He got eye gouged and everything else in the book in that fight leading to the dq. That was Yvel at his best.
