The Pride japanese website says this will be the alternate fight for the Openweight grand prix at final conflict absolute. I don't know what happened to Roman Zenstov but to tell the truth I dont care. THis fight is gonna be awesome.

sweet.. ive been wanting to see aleksander fight some more. i think he gonna get a knock out win over kharitonov... maybe, prolly 1st rd KO..

Both are coming off losses and Kharitonov is coming back from an injury. I think they both have a lot to prove and want to showcase that they are topheavyweights. From the first time I saw Kharitonov knock the shit out of Ninja i loved him, he is one of my favorites. With that being said if he stands with Aleks it will be a war that could go either way but if sergei takes it to the ground its over.

Wow what a match. Definitely looking forward to that one. Until the Overeem fight, I thought it was only a matter of time until we were saying Kharitonov's name in the same breath as Fedor and Nogueira. We'll see if he can work his way back, beating up the brother of the Terminator.

What a great match up to announce as the 1st non-tourney fight on the card. It will definitely be a tough 1st match back for Sergei. I think at 100% he should be able to take Aleks though. We'll see, should be a great fight either way. Hopefully Pride adds more fights like this to the card.

But Kharitonov Is A Bad Ass Too...his Fight With Nog Is A Fuckin Classic And With Wins Over Rizzo , Rua And Werdum He Is Deff. A Great Fighter...
