I'm of the personal opinion that Tim Sylvia would lose to Mirko Crocop, Mark Hunt, Josh Barnett, Nogeira, Fujita and most definitely to Fedor.

The only two I see him having a chance with are Hunt and Fujita. If he stood with hunt we would most likely get laid out but he trains at Miletech so he could probaly take him down and work for the sub. I don't think Fujita is anything special, he hit Fedor with a good shot and people act like hes a top fighter. I think Sylvia could probaly beat him standing.

honestly.. i was a big sylvia fan at first. an i also favored ufc over pride... but in my opinion, sylvia has been talkin mass shit an started to bother me so i dont like him so much anymore. wish AA wouldve taken him out all 3times like he shouldve... an there is no fuckin way that he can stand with any pride HW besides maybe fujita. i hate to say it bein a ufc fan a lil more. as far as HW goes, pride is dominating right now. i wish sylvia would get to fight couple of them jus so he'd get beat mass an maybe finally stop talkin so much...

I don't really know why you posted this, but you seem to be a Sylvia hater like most....

Anything can happen in a fight but the only guys I think would beat him in totally convincing fashion are CroCop, Nogeira and Fedor. Everybody else he'd have a shot with.

Sylvia vs Crocop would be a good fight, if Crocop doesn't run away from him like he did against Hunt. But Nog would be a bad fight for him & as for Fedor?

Let's be honest if Tim lands a heavy punch he'll knock anyone out, including Fedor, but that's a big IF!

I can't see Fujita or Hunt fighting Sylvia anytime soon, as that would be Dana admitting that the UFC heavyweights are 3rd rate.

agreed Sylvia would get laid out agaisnt Cro cop or Fedor. The only one I see him having a chance agaisnt is Fujita. PRIDE definetly is killing UFC in the heavyweight division.

agreed except with fujita, tim would beat fujita, and if hunt fought sylvia he would waste him, tim is all about striking and mark is a better striker so mark by ko. cro cop by ko, josh barnett by ko, and nogeira by submission and fedor by however he wanted to beat tim.

I'm no fan of Sylvia -- in the least, but I think he may be better than this thread suggests. In all reality, in a fight on U.S. soil, a/k/a steroids not allowed, I think nearly all the Pride guys would get handled by him, with the exception of Fedor and maybe Cro Cop.
