do you know who the first and second place wrestlers were?.

I am more than surprised that Ortiz beat Hughes. Only because Hughes seems more of a wrestling specialist. But there was certainly a size difference and that does make quite abit of difference in a wreslting match.

Arona won that tourney. Titos size versus Hughes did make a big difference. Titos grappling is underestimated. If anyone has the Tito vs. Arona match please post it, great match.

I was amazed at how small Hughes looked in the video. If the UFC didn't test for steroids after title fights, I would have some suspicions. He has really gotten a LOT bigger since the time of that video.

of course he looked small when he is wrestling a full sized 205 pounder. Tito looks like he cuts a fair amount of weight too. He's a big dude.

hughes walks around maybe 190, 5'9
tito walks around at about 220+, 6'2"
thats a huge size difference. 30 pounds of mostly muscle, and 3 inches of height.

that's actually 5 inches of height.

that was a good match. imagine if Tito and Matt fought in the octogan...would never happen in the US of course...but would still be a fight i'd wanna see!
