Fedor, pure dominance. Past greatest, certainly could be Kerr and he would likely get my vote. Take away the pain killers and the girldfriend and he would've accomplished close to what Fedor has IMO. One of the best athletes ever to grace a cage or ring.

Bas is not overated, Mezger was pretty fuggin good in his prime as were both Shamrocks, cmon now.

Your also givig the best of all time to Couture with his 14-8 record, yeah he lost to top ranked fighters but the best fighters of all time like the fedor's and Silva's fought the same competition if not stiffer and they won those fights so obviously Couture can't be the best ever.

Hughes just fights jobbers,he has 2 moves slam and elbows wow what a fighter like to see him in a pride ring with a ten minute first round..

Fedor, the guy destroys everybody. The only loss on his record is from a cut. The guy just doesn't lose. Stepping into the ring with that guy is like going up to a pitbull with a steak strapped to your chest.

Hughe's is probably the best product to ever come out of UFC. He is the only UFC fighter right now IMO that would actually be champion in Pride at WW if Pride had one. Slams and Elbows? What about submissions and that arm bar clinic he put on GSP? He's got Rampage like strength, is a world class wrestler and a worlds class sub expert. He is ion his prime now and I do not see him losing that belt for at least another 3 years. He's that good, you should watch more of his fights.

Well I never said I could beat matt Hughes, he could beat the shit out of all of us posters in one night.

And I know his amateur wrestling background, but every Hughes fight I see is him doing a slam ground and pound, around or near the fence which has no give and in pride you can't throw elbows, and if you get near the ropes they restart it in the middle of the ring.

Just saying Matt Hughes is a typical 2 dimensional UFC fighter get your opponent down maneuver him to the fence then throw punches and elbows, its a receipt for certain victory in the UFC.

UFC must get ride of elbows I like the smarter thinking man Pride fights better.

chuck, randy, wand,fedor,aa,hughes,gsp, maybe mir if he can redeem himself.. im tired of people saying that some of the gracies r some of the best of all time. back when they were wasteing everybody the sport was different, it was like style vs. style, but now a days everybody is well rounded, even if they did fight in their prime today they would be far from the top of best ever. no disrespect, but come on. they could barley contend with any mma fighters today. they were the best for their time but of all time, not at all. i would be hoping that lesnar would be one of the best of all times. and that he would destroy sylvia and shut him up. he is probably the strongest fighter in mma today. i can see him slamming sylvia on his back and ground and pounding him.

thats one of the only thing bad about pride. why the hell r the fights in a ring? they always have to reset them back into the ring, most other fight organizations have them in cages. i wish mma would allow headbutts and slamming people on their heads, cause i am good at that. but i can understand why they dont let you slam them on their necks cause that would definatly break their neck.

Only one Japanese organization uses a cage and that is the GCM organization. Rings for MMA are the norm in Japan.
