Aside from Monson and sylvia they can throw virtually any HW in the ufc at him right now that division is weak as shit. He would probably beat 95% of the guys in the UFC HW division. But God help him if Pride starts sending or the ufc can get some HW's from pride. He doesnt' stand a chance against any of the top 6-8 HW's in pride.

I liked Vera forever now ever since WEC 13 he is a really good fighter and ill be a fan untill the end. I think he needs more fights before he get any title shot though.

i dont nsee any good heavywieght in the the ufc to fight vera except monson and sylvia

that would be a good idea if only there were any top ten hw's in the company aside from arlovski and monson. monson's next fight is for the belt and i think he's earned it, so it'd be bogus to take that away from him just to fight vera. and with arlovski one of two things can happen. 1) arlovski loses and prety much secures a spot on the next washed up edition of TUF or 2) Vera loses and his hot streak ends earlier than it should have. i hate to say it but it seems like the only logical way to treat this guy is have him fight for the belt after monson.

I would like to see them bring a slugger like Buentello back to fight Vera. If they can get ANY pride HW's over that would be a great #1 contender fight.

I agree 100%, Buentello would be an excellent fight for Vera, if he wins that fight give him a shot at Arlovski or Monson

I am not on the wagon . He hasnt prove anything 19 and 1 can anyone name without looking it up a good actually respectable fighter he has beatn.

Assuerio Silva, not the greatest but certainly respectable. Of course i think anyone that steps in the octagon or ring deserves some form of respect. But silva is not a "bad" fighter.
