Brandon 'The Truth' Vera....

Alot of people have been jumoing on the vera bandwagon which has been alot op people been talking about for a while.... i look at his carreer and he is undefeaded in mma well fight can make 205 easly if he wanted but desised to stayu at heavywieght because he said he want to be the first heavyweight and lightheavy weight champ at the same time ( which will never happen) i do see him being a top copetiter to the lightheavy weight title i dont think he can beat sylvia but be is still a good fighter....i am not on the bandwagon just yet but mabe a couple more fight and i see him just keep winning the ok....i would like him to fight tito ortiz i would like to see that fight but i havent seen him fight a really good fighter yet......they should have his next fight against fank mir so he could just destroy him and make him retire.......i would also like to see him against jeff monson i thin that would be a good fight!!!1

I'm definitely one of the guys that has been on the Vera wagon for awhile now. His last fight against Assuerio Silva impressed me. Silva is not a chump by any means. He hurt his leg with a kick and had enough composure to slip Silva up in a guillotine. Silva took Tim Sylvia to a 3 round decision and Vera made him tap in the first round. He also has some devastating knockouts in the UFC.

well thats because the "hes the shit right now" he has like a 19-1 record .3 of them in the ufc i think that would make him good.

yeah, i like vera but i don't know about all the whole "he's gonna be the next champ" talk. he could def be great at both heavy and light heavy, but his greatest accomplishment as of yet is silva who hasn't really done anything impressive since coming to UFC. I like Vera and his fights have all been exciting, but i think its gonna be a little harder than he and his bandwagoners think for him to accomplish his aspirations. in all honesty though, i hope he does.

brandon vera's 7 - 0, not 19 - 1.

People should start talking about Vera when he actually accomplishes something.Saying that you're going to become HW and LHW champ isn't an accomplishment anyone can do that.Watch this.

I'm going to beat up Fedor that drop down to 170 and take out Hughes.See anyone can say ridiculous things it's nothing to commend

brandon vera has all the tools to win at a very high level. And think about this. Chuck Liddell will probably retire in the next two to three years. there is no heir apparent to the belt. Even if Wandy wins they will not let him take the belt to pride. so LHW is definitely a possibility. Plus given the fact that the HW division is pretty weak in the ufc Brandon Vera has a punchers chance of winning a title fight at HW. Especially if he fights Sylvia and takes the fight to the ground. I am not on the Vera bandwagon yet but he is definitely one to watch in the future.

Vera is exactly what the sport needs. A young, exciting fighter who's very exciting to watch. You never know if he'll end the fight with a strike or a submission. In a sport that is constantly changing, he is the poster boy for the evolution of the sport. Now we just have to hope he can get a little more experience in the octagon before they throw him to the wolves.
