But that was the whole point. I replied to a post about Tyson trying to learn MMA. You said Tyson learned to box; I said he didnt because he didnt box (he just brawled). Yes that worked for him regarding boxing. But let's make a comparison between Tyson and David Abbott. Abbott never learned the sport of MMA, he only learned to brawl. And his 9 - 11 record is evidence that you need to learn the sport in its entirety to be successful; the same cannot be said for boxing. You can be a successful boxer without actually "boxing" during your fights.

all im saying he ya Tyson brawled but he wasnt an awful boxer, he did know how to box he just wasnt a very good boxer, he was an olympic boxer at one point of his career, he has beaten a handful of boxers with better boxing skills then him, but he wasnt a very good boxer but still I wouldnt say he was dumb to boxing.
