There is no way they made a profit. Obviously we don't know exact numbers but look at it once:
The live gate probably didn't even cover renting out the forum (it was only 1/4 full)

The pay doesn't include dark matches, win bonuses, or PPV Percentages

The PPV wans't available in some areas

They still had to pay:
Insurance
Maintenance (to put up the cage, take it down, clean, etc)
Lawyers for the contracts and Athletic commision issues
The announcers
Advertising
The productions crews
The refs, judges, Athletic Commission fees, etc
The people running the day to day operations (booking fighters, getting the show on PPV, running the website, doing promotions, people to answer the phones, etc

There is no way this made a profit.

The WFA work on a shoestring budget so that the fighters are paid as much as they can. They pride themselves on being a fighter friendly promotion. (edit: shoestring budget's probably not the right analogy, but the point is made!)

So if they paid their fighters this amount they would have to have expected to near filled the arena. The turn out was poor & the PPV (from reading the comments in this forum before the show took place) was not wide-spread.

Sponsors aside I can't see any other revenue coming in & as previously mentioned Goldberg & Quadrous would have been paid a pretty penny to commentate the show, then you have the behind the scenes crew & administration costs. It's not looking good.

However, with the news that they're signing talent like Faber (good up & coming fighters) this should be a better direction for them & there's nothing wrong with getting in a crowd pleasing fight, Crocop Vs Buentello for eg, as long as you get value for money.
