This is a stupid thread IMO because this site is full of PRIDE nuthuggers and no matter who the two fighters are the majority of people are gonna pick the pride fighter,but in all honestly i think chuck is by far the better striker,he's easily the best LHW of all time followed close by Wandy,Chuck is always working angles and everyone knows he got KO power, im not taking anything away from cro cop hes an amazing fighter but put them in the ring or cage and cro cops getting KTFO!(Like chuck KO'd Randleman and Randleman ran through Cro cop-Nuff said)

Both are awesome strikers but i give the edge to Liddel based soley on his footwork. Mirko uses his strength to create opportunities with his kicks chuck uses angles and footwork to create openings for both punches and kicks.

In their last 9 fights Chuck has 7 Knockouts, and Cro Cop has 4 (technically 3, but if you kick someone in the leg so hard they quit, that counts in my book.)

the post from tuf 5 was really lame, i am getting sick of people who write so and so beat him and he beat the other guy, i mean none of that matters. yea chuck ko'd randleman and randleman ko'd cro cop( don't forget randleman lost the rematch really quickly) yea ok , so rampage destroyed chuck like nobody else ever has, and wandy almost killed rampage does that mean wandy is automatically better? tito beat sliva years ago and chuck beat tito so now what? this can go on for days and days of who beat who and so and so beat them , it doesn't matter people. i am am just happy to see chuck and wandy finally go down its gonna be a war. but crop cop is a better striker , we have never really seen either of there ground game so it would be a great fight, chuck could easily knock him out and vice versa though. too many ufc sack swingers on this forum. i am a fan of the sport no matter what organization it is . i just wanna see good fights and events and not the crap we saw at ufc 61, what a rip off.

tough decision, both some of the best strikers in the world and we may never know. will u guys stop going back to chuck vs. rampage? that fight was a while ago and chuck has improved a lot, and he would probably beat jackson this time. thats just like saying that tito is better then wand. he may have beaten him a while ago, but do u honestly think that he would beat him today?
does it really matter if they r from pride or ufc? both fighters train their asses off and only sleep eat and fight. just because one is from pride doesnt mean that he is better, it depends on the guy.

and with your thinking, rampage knocked out randleman and lidell?? so that would make rampage the greatest of all time  but then wandy beat him, then arona beat wandy? then shogun beat arona??? so confusing:banghead:

KO power is not the only part of striking. there's much more to it. movement, technique, accuracy, and hand speed.
Chuck has different, but useful technique, good hand speed, decent accuracy with his combinations, and great footwork and movement. but he's not too well rounded. he doesnt pick people apart slowly, he just taps and taps, and lands flush
Cro Cop is a very methodical guy, more well rounded. his movement is great, and he just waits to pick you apart with leg kicks and combinations, working you and winning rounds while he's waiting for you drop the right hand, so he can try to decapitate you with that left kick.
the coolest thing about this, is that Cro Cop is a smaller HW, fights at like 213. he could drop 8 pounds and fight Chuck. and i would pay out the ass to see it.
