I hope he can return to form in the UFC and take out some of the top LW. | Yup and he had a war with Gomi. They have different styles so you can't compare how they fight against one guy, Jens stood with him and BJ ended it on the ground, different styles. I'm not saying he'd beat him again but i am saying he won't get demolished. I'm not comparing their careers either, you said..... Quote:
Personally I can't see why everyone's hyped about his return.
Since he left he's been a bit of a journeyman.
I may be proved wrong, but there's much better talent in the UFC LW division at the moment & the Penn fight had better be tongue-in-cheek for Pulver. He'd get demolished.
| and i was just replying that he wouldn't get owned by Penn and that he was still a top LW in the UFC. The only person i see that's actively in the UFC's LW division that might be a bit much for him is Sherk because of the size and strength difference. But he could give Sherk some problems before he gets taken down but i don't think he'll be able to ko him, Sherk can take a shot. Other than that i don't see anyone head and shoulders above Jens there.

In fairness so was I!
I'll stand by what I said, a top of his game Jens Pulver is not in a top of his game BJ Penn's league.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I can't see how Pulver would beat Penn.

Im Very Happy To See Jens Back.... He Did Alrite In Pride Losing To Only The Top 2 Lw In The World And He Did Do Pretty Damn Good Against Gomi...but He Never Lost The Title In The Ufc And I Think He Can Come Back And Do Really Well... I Think He Could Take Penn Again...
