Thought this was old news, but is still good news.

Very old. i didnt know he called out bj though. does anyone know where bj is fighting now?

Personally I can't see why everyone's hyped about his return.

Since he left he's been a bit of a journeyman.

I may be proved wrong, but there's much better talent in the UFC LW division at the moment & the Penn fight had better be tongue-in-cheek for Pulver. He'd get demolished.

Jens is still a huge threat in the lw division for the ufc. Just because he was going to boxing and back to mma doesn't mean he's still not dangerous. I don't know about him being demolished by B.J. especially since he already holds a win over him at UFC 35 where it went all five rounds in a good fight. He's a top dog, don't make no mistake about it. There is a lot of good competition though for him like you said.

Really?

Since their fight Pulver's gone backwards & Penn was gone forwards, watch their respective fights with Gomi.

I'll admit this much about Penn, he seems to lose concentration in some of his fights & cruises a la GSP & Uno (2nd), but if I was a betting man I'd put Penn over Pulver every day of the week in todays game.

I'm not saying he's a bad fighter, far from it, I just think it's a name from the UFC past that UFC fans are going ape for, when in reality he's a shadow of the man that left. A bit like Royce Gracie (alright, maybe that was a bit too low!).

As I said I may be wrong, but I'll wait til I see him in action against the likes of Edwards (if he returns) or Sherk.

Actually that's a good point. Get in some names to gain interest while you rebuild the division.

OK, I'll give it to you, Pulver can come back!!

Read that link on ufc.com and it was funny how he was calling Penn lazy and chubby. Could add some fuel to the fire and pull Penn into a rematch.

Pulver is one of my favorite fighters. He always brings it every fight, and loves to entertain his fans. I'm glad to see him back in the UFC. He didn't look that good in Pride only going 2-2. In all fairness though his 2 losses were to 2 of the best LW in the world in Gomi and Sakurai. I hope he can return to form in the UFC and take out some of the top LW.
