Lol! Bad start! Host has said there's 'only one UFC' and stated that is a positive when compared to the many boxing organizations - no mention of mma or other promotions yet. I think Dana has scripted this...

Hrmph...
Although it's great to get some mma publicity on the premier sports radio show here, it came off mainly as pro-ufc, anti boxing propaganda.
Bisping and Dana's interviews were pretty good.
Funniest moments were when Bisping was asked if he could beat up Hatton and Calzaghe (paraphrased response: Yes.) and when other mma promotions were refered to as 'splinter organizations' lol.
All in all though, any publicity is good publicity I suppose.

It was a decent show.
To say Dana came on a boxing show he answered questions really well. It helps when the presenters give a bit of respect to the guests, but I'm glad he made the point that mma was not running against boxing, rather running along side boxing.
Interesting to hear about the UFC coming to the UK & starting up shows over here (I heard rumblings, but nothing concrete). Even if it's a feeder show (after all Cage Rage is just Prides feeder in the UK) it will be awesome to get to see some decent promotions.
I only caught the last 5/10 minutes of Dana's interview, was Bisping on before?

Yeah, they interviewed him at wolfslair just before Dana. He came across very well and repectfull as always (as did Dana).
Interestingly, it was mainly the hosts that were orientating the questions towards 'boxing vs mma' and getting things wrong such as UFC being the only belt and other organizations being 'splinters springing up' (hence my cynicism that Dana had provided the facts)
I think with hindsight it went as well as it could have given the ignorance of the hosts (they certainly did very little homework).
I didn't know CR was a Pride feeder... learn something new every day.

Yeah, they have been for the last few years. CR was supposed to have a GP where the winner got a contract with Pride. Nothing ever came of it though, and I haven't heard anything about it since last year.
