If Pat ever wants to get back at Dana then just make dana watch him fight. Watching a Pat Miletich match is brutal and nobody should have to suffer through that.

“The IFL’s another one of the small shows in the country that’s helping build the grassroots of this sport. Unless someone tells me the IFL’s doing something, I don’t even know they exist.”
Lets see... IFL smashes the North American MMA attendence record. Dana white reply's "duh... never hurd of dem". ROFLMAO!!!! NO Dana! Stop stop, you're killing me! Damned, Dana has a new signature move "the denial-ator". Maybe he IS a fighter himself... and maybe I'm a Chinese jet pilot.

I think Ivan Salaverry is a great fighter. He's one of my favorites, but if I'm putting a card together I'm not paying him big money. No one is buying a ticket when they hear his name, and no one is going to push the order button when they see his name. Liddell, Hughes, Ortiz, Rampage, Silva, even Gracie and Rutten are guys that people will pay big money to see, therefore they get paid big money. The UFC is what's driving this sport in America right now, like it or not. The guys they put in fights are the guys we talk about in this forum, and then when the fight sucks we blame the UFC. If new fans come to this forum and see everyone hatin on the UFC, and it's the only show they ever get to watch, it'll be hard to grow a fanbase any larger than just hardcore fans.

Actually the UFC is the biggest mma organisation in the US poss the world, therefore they get exposure on Spike TV etc.
However that does not give them the right to behave this way. It's never a good idea to bury your head in the sand & watch as Dana White dictates how this sport is run. If it were dictatorships would not be so controversial.
If new fans log on to forums like this they'll see that people have different opinions of fighters in the UFC as well as other promotions. I agree that some people here will criticise some fighters no matter what they do (UFC or otherwise), but that's their perogative. Hopefully these new fans will learn that UFC does not mean mma (& so will Dana White!) & buy ppv's from Strikeforce (as an aside poeg, I think this is who you were thinking of when referring to the smashing N.American attendance records) or some of the other organisations.
Please don't misinterprate what I'm saying cos I like the UFC fights/show. I just don't like the way it's being run by this baby, Dana White.

Aside from a couple intellilgent posts basically all i am hearing is the typical bitching and whining about Dana White. Give it a rest already. The guys is a BUSINESSMAN. He makes good sound BUSINESS decisions. And for all of you that say "well if they paid what pride pays they would have better cards" well you know what aside from the top fighters i don't think pride pays shit. They don't publish the fighter purses so it is pure speculation on your part as to what they are paying fighters.
I mean fuck rampage is always saying show me the cheddar. He "only" got paid 100k for WFA. It pride pays so much he probably would have made more staying with them. Give it a rest and grow up.
