I just read that Dana White confirmed that the UFC is interested in an October UFC special featuring Ortiz / Shamrock 3 due to the "premature" ending to the 2nd one. Although neither Ortiz or Shamrock have agreed or commented on this, the fact that the UFC is wasting their time on this is pathetic. If anyone should have been booed that night, it was Herb Dean. He stopped the fight...not Tito. Tito would've been fine with beating Kenny into retirement via repeated elbows to the cranium. Someone please interject on MMA fans behalf and do not make MMA fans watch another one of these. Let the man get paid via SSI, not UFC. Anyone think Shamrock should have a 3rd go at Ortiz? IMO, Tito has nothing to gain and everything to lose. He's in line for a title shot soon (according to rumored contract agreement). If by some freaky turn of events, he should lose, he'd lose everything.

I'd be fine with a 3rd fight I think Ken deserves it as a HOFer ,but I just wish they wouldn't have the months of hype this time.I think that's what turned people off.The months TUF and than the months of build up was a little much.

I think thats the point. According to the contract if he beat forrest and shamrock he would get a shot at the belt. With Chuck fighting babalu, and maybe silva tito has to wait in line. They will probaly give tito an easy fight so he is not inactive and because they can get ratings off of his name.
