yeah and if they did that there would be like 2 ppv's a year. I am goin gto guess that you have never ordered a boxing ppv. they are notorious for one fight and a bunch of non fights. the ufc puts together decent cards top to bottom generally with a good headliner. Pride usually puts together a lot of headliners but they tend to feed them cans. Look at the Bushido card. Great card top to bottom but i was hoping for a big fight with Gomi and they are feeding him someone i haven't heard of making his pride debut. If the ufc put all of the "best fighters" on every card someone would get hurt and we the fans would be waiting 8 months between ppv's.

If you don't like the cards don't buy them. that is the beauty of free enterprise.

I do see your point, but for me, yes I would much rather watch Fedor vs Mauro or Fedor vs Bruce Buffer than Stout vs Spencer simply because Fedor is the biggest name in the sport.

All MMA and boxing orgs put cards together with the main event(s) being the selling point and at the time AA vs Sylva had the makings to be a better fight than the Chuck vs Babalu fight as it was the rubber match and AA was to KO Sylvia, get the belt back and bring back some validation to the UFC HW division as to claim "we have one" being UFC being able to claim they have a valid HW who could compete with Pride HW's (and they are both strikers so a standup WAR was expected).

The Tito vs Ken I wanted to see ken's face pummeled for 3 rounds, I don;t care for Ken or how he let his fighters and the entire UFC down so I wanted to watch him catch a beating and it is always fun to watch him catch a beating as he keeps coming for more, unfortunately we were stolen of that glory by an early stoppage.

I wold've liked to have seen a better co main event and not seen the Bonnar vs Forrest rematch yet, I think it is too early for this rematch, let them sharpen their skills soe more and fight a year from now. Just too early IMO.

That makes no sense unless you are a casual fan at best. Most fans want to see the best fights period. Granted that most of the big names will give the most dominant performance. But to throw a can in there takes away from the excitement of a competetive match. Fedor is the best fighter in mma right now if not the biggest name. But to say you would rather watch fedor beat on someone like a brandon lee hinkle which would be no contest at all than say the bonnar v griffin fight which should be competitive and exciting if the first fight was any indicator or stout v fischer which should also be a great fight is just about blasphemous. i think i am done debating with stupidity.

The comparison was actually Stout vs Fischer and not Bonnar vs Griffin, I have been an avid MMA fan for many years now. Fedor is the best in the world and he destroys people in amazing fashion, of course I would rather watch him fight anyone can or no can over 2 undercard fighters regardless of which is going to be the better fight. Fedor's fights are masterfull, you're full of yourself if you claim that you would watch a PPV that had Stout vs Fischer over a PPV with Fedor vs anyone.

I think I am debating with the epitomy of stupidity.

Right, I'm sure Dana White & Joe Silva matched Frank Mir With Dan Christenson cos they gave Christenson a chance?!?

Same would go when they paired him with Cruz. Anyone seriously thought that the match would be made if they thought Cruz (1-0 at the time) had a chance against there returning ex-champ are greatly mistaken.

Tito Vs Shamrock was one of the BIGGEST fights in UFC history, so financially it would make sense to have the rematch. If Ken wasn't such a baby & a shot fighter, believe me the 3rd fight would not be on free tv.

The end of the day the support card for this looks very weak as there are no "contenders" other than a later replacement in Franca. A card full of non-contenders should be on Ultimate Fight Night where they can make a name for themselves. Sanchez Vs Parisyan should be on UFC62 as it is a contender matchup. Bottom line!

Now there is (if the rumour is true). When I posted there wasn't.
