I am just curious to what you guys think or have heard on this topic and if so who do you think the right oppenent would be. I for one would love to see him have another fight so he could try to go out with a win. The reason I am asking is i just read this interview linked off of ufc.tv and it sounds to me like he wants to fight again.

"Though now comfortably ensconced at the UFC broadcast table, the 42-year-old former heavyweight and light heavyweight champion hasn't completely ruled out a return to the octagon for the right opponent. "

"I'm not going to come out of retirement to fight just anybody," he said. "The circumstances have to be right in order for me to do that

i don't see him coming back. i'd love to b/c randy's one of my all-time faves, but i think he has too much integrity to just jump back in a year or two after retiring to fight someone. and soon enough he's gonna be too old to fight anyway. he's not rocky.

He may do, Rutten did so why not.

However I can't see him doing a Royce Gracie & going in against a modern day champion. Randy Couture Vs Bas Rutten or Mark Coleman could well be on the cards.

However, I hope he stays out. Against Chuck & Van Arsdale he was far too slow.

I think he still has one fight that he has been waiting for since UFC 49 where he won back the lhw title against Vitor Belfort he called out Wanderlei Silva and i think that if Couture comes out of retirement to fight anybody it will be wandy

I'd love to see him fight Bas Rutten... not saying it would ever happen, but I think it'd be pretty sweet. I think there's an older thread about Bas vs. Couture....

I could see him coming back for a fight against Wand Silva. Other then that....I doubt it.

He's not going to come back just to get his ass beaten. He's done fighting. He knows his time is over.

I'm pretty sure he'll fight again. How many fighters stay retired? He's already hinted at possibly coming back in the future. I think he'll get those juices flowing once again and Dana will throw another big pay day at him and he'll fight.

I could see Randy coming back and dominating Tito again or dominating Wanderlei Silva (everyone knows deep down inside that's what would happen let's be honest here)
