Quick question about Fedor
 

Sorry to waste a whole thread on this but, What are Fedor's injuries, when is he projected to come back and fight?, is he still under contract with Pride?, what are the chances of seeing him in the UFC in the future?

Fedor has a hand injury, not sure of the specifics of the injury. He had a surgery to break and re-set the bones in his hand properly. He's rumored to be on Pride's U.S. Debut on October 21st in Las Vegas. I can't guarantee he'll ever fight in the UFC, but hopefully it will happen one day.

Brandon Vera is the man to beat Tim Sylvia and anyone else in that division. Mark my words.

yeah like that's going to happen.Tim right now is the best HW in the UFC and now that AA's out of his way he doesn't have anyone that poses a real threat to him ,unless Mir gets back in shape or maybe Buentello or one of new up and comers get better.

I know it doesn't help that I'm not a Tim Sylvia fan at all and think all of his success has come from his size and being in a weak UFC HW division. The only way I see Vera losing a fight against Sylvia is because of the reach advantage. We will have to see, but my money would be on Vera:grinsmile1:

Sylvia's more than just size.Yeah he does rely on his reach and that contributes to his wins ,but if size was all you needed than Teila Tutt would've won UFC 1 and Rei Zulu would've domianted Rickson and Wes Sims would have a better record than 12 - 8 - 1.Tim deserves more respect than he gets sometimes.I'm not a big fan ,but he's not a bad fighter.How many 6'8 men do you see throwing head kicks?

SOMETIMES. Most of the time he is just a shit-talking hillbilly that needs to get KTFO!!! Well that's how I see it anyway.....NTM I don't AA was on his game in their rubber match, he just didn't seem to be bringin' it. :angrrry:

I suppose I am biased though, I just generally do not like Tim Sylvia.
