Oh but he did beat a Gracie.......... let the past go dude, and clean your bong. | Lindland? lol he is not nor has he ever been on the same level as Frank. Neither is Terrell. Henderson,Silva, and especially Rich would all pose a big threat to Frank and would make for some great fights. But even now with all his time away, I think Frank gives any of the 3 a run for the money. and oh yea I will FOREVER BE HITTING DA BONG, dunno what that has to do with this thread but hey.

Henderson is just not a verse as Frank and Silva would be taken to the ground which isn't his most happy of places. I still don't see why people are so weak minded when it comes to Frank the guy is so squirly for his size and hits hard he is like a bigger BJ Penn. Witch his legs in his fights and tell me Dan Henderson has a chance. i don't think so.

lol@Hendo not standing a chance vs Frank Shamrock. Henderson has beaten more proven fighters than Frank Shamrock and has been far more active than Shamrock. I think Shamrock was a great fighter in his prime, but I don't see the need of putting him on a pedistal still after beating only Cesar Gracie and Bryan Pardoe or whatever his name is in the last 3 years.
And yes I know Shamrock made Hendo tap in a grappling only match, but that was a long time ago, and not MMA. I'm not guaranteeing that Henderson would beat Frank, but to say he doesn't stand a chance is laughable.

So tell me what do you think Henderson has on him. He is not as quick not as powerful, His groundgame isn't as good and his striking is about the same. So how would he beat Frank?

He's definitely a better wrestler than Frank, and he's stronger. He's fought the best at HW, LHW, and some of the best at MW. He could definitely use his wrestling ability and power to get a decision victory over Shamrock.
The only way I could see Shamrock winning is if he pulled off a submission. He isn't gonna KO Hendo, Hendo has fought better strikers who couldn't pull off that task. The only 2 sub losses Hendo has had was to each of the Nog bros. I think Shamrock could pull off a sub, but it would be very tough. Hendo has nice sub defense.
I like Frank Shamrock and all, but the guy hasn't fought anyone of any consequence in awhile. He's living off his past fame and taking easier fights.

That being said I still think Frank is too squirmy and good on the ground to be completely outwrestled by Hendo. If it happened i would have to say Frank by decision in what most casual fans would call a "boring" fight. Also you said he is living off his past fame and taking easy fights? Well it seems to me somewhere around 1999-2000, Frank lost alot of his desire to fight, dunno what other explantion u could have for him fighting 3 times in the last 6 years. I know he had been doing alot of training with other fighters and law enforcement. So hopefully he has found that fire he lost and will make a full fledged return. Also getting back to the original topic I think Frank will absolutely dominate Baroni if that fight happens.

I understand why you would give it to Hendo. I have both of their training videos. I just don't agree with your accessions I think as the last guy said Frank is too squirmy on the ground and because he is so strong there also I don't think Hendo will have the advatage there. But all in all We haven't as you said seen a real fight from the guy in a long time. So I can only go off of what I have seen and Know about him from then.
P.S. I agree with him not pulling the KO though.

lol. but Sapp is the strongest guy in MMA. not too good, but really strong
but i would have to go with Hendo if they fought now.
If it had happened in 2000, I would give it to Shammy with a leglock
Shamrock has passed his physical and professional prime, it's a real shame he retired. he said that there was no real competition when he quit, which makes sense to a certain degree because he had beaten most of the UFC competition when he won, but i wish he had at least stayed in the game

i'm talking about muscle mass etc., not fight strength. he is 350+ of pretty much solid muscle
big Nog subbed him because BJJ isn't all strength, there's leverage and technique, and Nog's JJ is incredible
but yeah, you cannot deny that when he muscled right out of Big Nog's kimura, that was a pretty good show of raw strength
