| Your picks to win the PRIDE WW tournament?
The WW grand prix matches are as follows:
Dan Henderson VS Kazuo Misaki (II)
Ryo Chonan VS Paulo Filho
Akihiro Gono VS Gegard Mousasi
Denis Kang VS Amar Suloev
(I think) the rest of the matches are just Bushido show superfights / non-tournament matches.
Your picks?
Mine are Henderson, Filho, Gono, and Kang.
I figure Filho & Kang are the favorites to win it all, it all depends on the matchups.

Im going with Hendo to take the tournament. He is a great fighter and hopefully this tournament will secure him as the top middleweight in the world(i know rich is good but lacks competition). For this round though im hoping for some underdogs. I like Chonan alot and hope he can shock the world and put a loss on Filhos record.

I can't really see anyone beating Henderson here. Not even close.

I am going with the same picks as you did (they are the fovorites to win the fights and shuold not have too much trouble doing so).
I have to dissagree with you thinking Kang and Filho are the favorites to win the tourney as Hendo is the #1 ranked MW in the world (due to Franklin not having any competition) so I don't see how Kang would be a favorite. He is an awesome striker but if he fihgts Hendo in the finals, he will be fighting from his back.
If Hendo and Filho are in sepperate brackets those are my picks to reach the finals and Hendo will be victorious IMO. He certainly has to be the favorite in this tourney, he is the reigning champion.

Hendo is definitely the favorite of this tourney. Henderson, Mousasi, Suloev, and Filho are my picks. I picked Mousasi because he's a solid young fighter and no one else did so I kinda felt sorry for him. Suloev is just kind of a gut feeling. He just beat last years runner up, and I like how his style matches up with Kang's. Should be a great fight though either way.

Hendo
Mousasi
Suloev
Filho
Hendo is obviously the top fighter.
i pick Mousasi cuz he's underrated and a great overall fighter. plus im biased, he's Armenian so i have to support him. Same with Suloev.

you may not be a UFC nuthugger, but you are definitely a Pride hater, I've never seen you post one positive remark about Pride.. So you are saying that Kang, Suloev, Filho, Bustamante, Gono, Chonan wouldn't be able to beat any UFC MIDDLEWEIGHTS? Or did you really mean WELTERWEIGHTS? Because everyone with common MMA knowledge knows that Pride WW=same weight class as UFC MW.
And if you don't really care, then why bother posting on this thread other than to boost your post count and troll?
