| Just Tito being Tito.
Alright I will preface this by saying, I do not like Tito. I think he is an average fighter that has gotten where he is today by being very popular and very hated. He fills seats for wateva reason and thats why he is even still in the UFC today. He has been spoon fed his whole career and lost almost everytime he stepped up to a real challenge. Alright now with that being said. I think him accepting a 3rd shamrock fight is a huge mistake on his part. He has absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose. From a business stand point his contract is backloaded with PPV buys and what not, throught that out the window with a Spike right. He CANNOT do any to shammy aside from murdering him that he hasnt done before. And what happens if the ole timer pulls off a miracle knee/arm bar and wins? Where does tito go from there? Supposedly Tito's in ring persona is just an act and he is a completely different person outside the ring. But to me this just seems like a personal vendatta and Tito just wants to beat Ken up. While alot of u may see this as balls, it may very well be a lack of brains. There is no bigger road block to a Title shot for Tito then if he dropped a third fight to retiring shell of a fighter Shamrock. But hey maybe it does make since now, he wants to wait till Chuck/Wandy arent at the top of the division. But anyways just lemme know what you guys think? personnally i think its kinda nice of him giving shammy another crack but business wise this could wind up being a disaster for tito.

Tito knows the more he beats up on Ken Shamrock the more these new MMA fans who think Tito and Ken are actually elite Light Heavyweights will slob on his knob and buy Team Punishment gear. Let's just sit back and wait until he does get a title shot for his impressive beatings of a senior citizen. Then we can watch either Wandy or Chuck kick his head into the third row.

If Ken somehow pulls off a victory than Tito doesn't deserve a title shot.He does have something to gain in this fight an easy victory with "some" merit.

Tito is an average fighter, his standup sucks. Ken Shamrock is 42 years old and thats where the majority of his wins are coming from these days, Vitor was washed up when they went to a decision, him and Cote went to a decision, him and Forrest went to a decision. He isnt dominating fighters hes suppose to dominate other then Ken. Other then that, Tito is disrespectful.. i'd be a fan if he wasnt so damn disrespectful.

You see this is why the anti-Tito brigade bore me to tears at times.
Tito was not spoon fed fights.
He beat Wandelie Silva for the titile. He then beat Yuki Kondo & Evan Tanner. He was to face Jeremy Horn, but Horn lost to Elvis Sinosic in a final eliminator, so he beat Sinosic. Then he beat Matyushenko who was/is an awesome wrestler with wins over Minotauro, Tiger White & Pedro Rizzo.
He then goes in against Shamrock for the most eagley awaited fight in MMA history at the time & whoops him.
Then Chuck Liddle starts spouting his mouth & everyone says he's avoiding him. Liddle takes on Couture & loses, therefore Couture gets the title fight. Tito takes on Couture & loses the belt, then takes on Liddle & get's his ass kicked.
I'm telling you now if Tito fights Babalu, Liddle, Silva, Crocop, Fedor & King fucking Kong they'll still be people saying he got fed cans or they were past their prime.
Anyway on to the point of the thread, in my opinion Tito is fighting Ken again because of the people on forums etc complaining that the second fight was stopped too soon. He pretty much said so when the crowd booed him after the fight.

I'd love to see Tito fight Fedor... anyone know if Tito has a deathwish?

Tito didn't go chasing the fight. We all know that Ken was begging for it. If I was a betting man, I would say that Tito actually didn't even wanna do it. But, Tito is really trying to get on Dana White's good side and I'm sure he hates the fact that most people think their second fight was a fluke. IMO if it would've gone 10 seconds more, Ken would be still in the ring. I have nothing bad to say about tito, ken, or the UFC for that matter for making the 3rd fight happen.
