| MMA Superbowl
after reading the comments of the pride boss about a possible MMA superbowl next summer. Going just ignore the whole thing about alternating rounds in a cage and ring cause thats just stupid. But here a card worthy of the title MMA Superbowl. u guys lemme know what fights u would like to see
Co- Main Events
Wandy vs Chuck II (I think no matter the outcome there will prolly be a 2nd fight)
Rich Franklin vs Dan Henderson (i dont know if there names are big enough to be co-main eventers on such a card but this is one the fights i most want to see, so if u disagree it could easily be on the undercard)
Matt Hughes vs ??? (still trying to find a good Pride fight for him, was thinking Gomi in a catchweight fight but Hughes is prolly just too big for him)
Tim Slyvia vs Mark Hunt (could be most exciting fight on the card, plus Tim's best chance to beat a good Pride HW)
Sherk vs Gomi(could replace Gomi with someone else if he were to move up for Hughes)
Tito vs Shogun
And last but certainly not least
Randy Courture vs Nog (I think Randy wants another fight and this would be a hell of one to go out on)
Alright first off i know i left off Cro Cop and Fedor off the card that is because of the simple fact I dont know who from UFC can be competive with them. So guys lemme know what u think...

I would buy it. I think i would sub Mirko with Hunt just because he too would stand and kick the shit out of Sylvia. I agree though that Fedor Would kill any UFC HW. Maybe have Fedor V big nog. Hughes i could see fighting Punk Minowa or Baroni if he could get to 170 or at a catch weight. Gomi v Sherk or Penn. And lets not forget Babalu v Arona.
Anyway you slice it an mma superbowl UFC V Pride will rock and everyone will buy no matter who is fighting.

And then I can see Rush "Devour" the competition.

And in all honesty I think Pride loses 3-2 and let me say why. Heavyweight division UFC wins........ No really that's a joke they lose as bad as my toronto maple leafs in that category. UFC has absolutely no chance Fedor, Barnett, Hunt, Cro Cop. Honestly same for the LHW division, and While I think Lidell is gonna beat Wanderlai in the cage, thats about as far as it goes. But to make things quick here I've got Franklin, A.Silva, St. Pierre, Hughes, Penn, Pulver, Sherk, Stevenson(after a great performance over Edwards) and notarable mentions Marquardt, Losieau, Parysian, Hominick(o.k so I'm canadian, at least I didn't mention Macdonald) for the 3 remaining divisions. All I can say is LETS BRING IT ON!!!!

I just cant think of who to throw in there with him how bout Aurelio? that could be a good fight. Then again theres a good chance GSP will be defending his WW title at this Superbowl.

In all honesty your right, too soon after the Hughes fight. But I would like to see him move to MW, just for this fight (hell he is 5"11) and beat the shit out of Phil Baroni. Sorry but that's what I would like to see.

Why not lets just put Tim in there with fucking Yoon Don Sik and watch Tim get killed. Get outta here wit that shit. Say what you want to about Tim but he has an incredible record, has not been KOed in over 20 professional fights, and is a tough sob. everyone saw the Mir armbar and i didnt even see him wince and the guy wanted to continue. Tim may not be the best in the world or nothing but he is no scrub.
