My favorite Gracie is an obvious Rickson. But I think when his son died, he lost his will to fight. He gave interviews saying that he would fight again, but he's been challenged by the likes of Bas and Wandy, and did nothing.
I guess maybe he likes teaching other guys a little more, or maybe he's just plain afraid to be four-hundred-something and one.

My favorite active Gracie's are Ryan and Rodrigo. Ryan definitely gives some much needed spark to the family name and is a maniacal fighter, but I question his discipline and/or dedication. Before he shot himself, he beat up a couple of cops in Brazil, apparently shattering someone's eyesocket.
He's definitely not an ol' skool straight-edge like the rest of the Gracie's.

And, I just like Rodrigo cuz it sounds cool......Hodrigo, Hodrigo.
I would've liked to at least see Rickson vs Sakuraba and see it right after the dissmantling of Royler. That would've been a great fight. If ot were to happen now, ther would be a lot of people trying to tarnish theri names and they are obviously not the same fighters they once were. Sak has taken an unreal amount of punishment and his age (36 years old) ontop of htat have really changed him as a fighter and I also think that Wandy destroying him the first time did something to Sak mentally.

Rickson is now 48 years old, probably still in world class shape but certainly his recovery and quckness have to have slowed somewhat.

If K-1 announced the fight though I would certainly be watching it! But it would not be anywhere near as good as it would've been back when Sak defeated Royler.
