All this would do is feed into Matts legacy. The first fight was a joke if they do it again it would be even weaker .

so no one thinsk that Royce can beat Matt?
I dont wanna see this fight personally, I think Matts wrestling is too good and Royce's standup isnt good enough but I dont think for one second that Royce cant beat him. Especially if hes coming off a loss from GSP.

I agree that Royce has an outside chance to submit matt. Ken Shamrock has an outside chance to beat Ortiz too but I'm definitely never gonna say that on one of these threads because it sounds like I think it could probably happen. Matt would have to make a VERY STUPID mistake to lose this fight. Don't get me wrong, I love Royce as a fighter. Gracie Jui-Jitsu has basically started what is MMA today. And I agree that he won't quit or tap out. But, think about their fight. Matt had a very secure submission on Royce and it was clear that he wasn't gonna tap. I've read where matt said he heard his arm pop three times and he decided to just let the sub. go and try something else. Its just not smart for Royce to try and be competing at this level. If he is to continue fighting, he should at least drop his level of competition. I definitely don't wanna see Royce suffering damage such as a broken arm, which definitely could've happened in the last fight. Hopefully, Matt will be the bigger man and just turn the fight down. Sorry Royce, I just don't wanna see you get hurt. |

If Hughes takes him down into side mount again, probably not but I would love to see Royce get the win this time.

There is no way Royce can standup and win this fight...impossible.....
This is just going to turn into another Tito/Shamrock game, where the legend keeps getting his ass fed to him, by the younger, better fighter.
Although, I do believe Royce has a better chance of beating Hughes, than Shamrock does with Tito

His reasonings for losing are just as delusional as kens. "I overtrained" is not an answer for the ass kicking he got.

He is as delusional as Shamrock. And he's very arrogant. He didn't even train with any top-notch wrestling guys. I for one have no interest in paying for or seeing for free another awful lopsided beatdown.
