| MMA Pet Peeves
The last few UFC PPV's have had Randy Couture as a commentator along with Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg. Which has been great. I always like to hear what Couture has to say about anything. But the way Goldberg constantly brings up Randys age or getting poked in the eye bothers the shit out of me. He brings them each up atleast 2 to three times every PPV. Its just a pet peeve of mine so i thought i would vent alittle and ask what are some of your pet peeves about MMA. Whether its a fighter or something somebody does or says or even something here on these fourms. As long has it has something to do with MMA lets hear it.

Golberg annoys me in general.
I would say my pet peeve is the new fans who are convinced they know better what to do than the fighters. Shit like "Why doesn't he just kick him" or "Or I would just stand back up if he took me down"

lol Where did my reply go?!?
I guess I shouldn't rely on readers' sense of humour and should explain in more than one word that one of my pet peevs is regarding a practice that is rife on mma forums, and that is the act of explaining one's beef with a thread simply by calling it gay with no elaboration.
Also dislike fans booing fighters who are more skilled than to just rush in guns blazing.
that is all.
git.

In other words, I agree with Clint.

LOL yeah...people over at my Apt. watching UFC 60 in the Diego Fight.(when he was on his back) "Run him back into the cage!!! Why doesn't he just slam him backwards into the cage?!?!" Fuckin idiots..lol..
I can't think of any pet peeves off hand, but I do usually play a drinking game every UFC.I take a shot every time Joe Rogan says..."HE'S ROCKED!!...Oh he is ROCKED!!

Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg. They both annoy the hell out of me. I will say it over and over again, they need to get retired fighters to do the commentary, not two goof balls.
Goldberg makes me laugh all the time the way he has been doing commentary for the UFC forever and he still has to ask Rogan questions about some of the most basic shit. And that gay ass frosted hair shit.
Rogan annoys me the way he always flip flops on his opinion. If you have watched a handfull of UFC's you know what I am talking about.
:banghead: There, I have vented.

but my biggest peaves are when fans boo a fighter because he's not from usa(most notably GSP)
i don't know about you guys, but out of my friends, i'm the most into mma. the rest are just starting to get into it because of TUF and pressure from me, so when i have people over to watch the fights one or two people are always laughing and calling it gay when someone's trying to move from the guard to a full mount. it just annoys the hell outta me.
another big thing is the fact that i'll never see fighters like frank shamrock in the octagon again because of personal animosity. shit like that bugs me and isn't fair to the fans.

It doesn't happen that often I think, but when fighters grab the cage or ropes to avoid being slammed or taken down. Pisses me off to no end. Maybe that takedown would have made the difference in the fight.
The big example that comes to mind, is Asseurio Silva vs. Tim Sylvia at UFN 4. Fair is fair, Sylvia used Silva as a punching bag that whole match. But there was one point where Silva had Tim from behind, and he was obviously going for a suplex. Tim Sylvia grabs the cage, stopping the suplex. The ref says "Bad Tim, bad.", and that's the end of it. Assuerio Silva's suplexes are one of his biggest fight-ending weapons. I would love to know how that fight would have ended if Tim Sylvia hadn't *CHEATED*. Pisses me right off. I feel robbed.... I wonder who feels more robbed, me or Asseurio.
