| Chris Leben fought at UFC 61...
..atleast according to someone at doghouseboxing who recently ripped off an article from the Boston Herald without actually reading more than a few paragraphs (and reposting them with a few quotes and minor changes). Quote:
UFC: Leben speaks out on Loss to Silva at UFC 61
Since entering the UFC in 2005, Chris Leben has had more than an impressive run before losing to middleweight Anderson Silva at UFC 61 in 49 seconds.
In a recent article by Thomas Gerbasi in the Boxton herald, Leben speaks out on his loss, telling the paper: “I got a little overzealous, tried to swing too hard and tried to look for the knockout right off the bat. I left myself heavy on my feet. His footwork was real good and he moved very well, he cut an angle and landed some good shots right on the chin, and that opened me up. It was my fault, I made some key mistakes, and at that level, if you
make a mistake for just a split second, your opponent’s able to capitalize on it and that’s it. Just like when Randy (Couture) slipped a little bit with Chuck (Liddell). Chuck capitalized on that one small opening and that’s that.”
Leben added: “He rung my bell pretty good. I do remember the first time he knocked me down, going ‘Okay, I’m going to get up.’ But I knew that after I got up I was gonna be so punch drunk I wasn’t going to have any sort of way to defend myself, but I figured, he caught me clean, he deserves a clean knockout, so I stood up for him and let him hit me a few more times. (Laughs) That’s the only thing I remember of the fight.”

Funny… so did Anderson; worked for him though.
“…so I stood up for him and let him hit me a few more times. (Laughs) That’s the only thing I remember of the fight.”
Punch drunk isn’t the word for this… I think it’s suicidal!

I don't think that was a punk move on his part at all. He gave credit to anderson for capitalizing on his mistake and tried to make light of the fact he got his ass kicked. i have a bigger problem with the jack ass that thinks that happened at UFC 61. It was a friggin free UFN on spike.

He generally makes for exciting fights when he is not being brutally beaten in less than a minute. lol.
