I think the UFC has the best team going right now.....Rogan, Goldberg, and Couture....although I think Mir would be equally as good as Couture.....
I find Rutten and Quatros extremely boring, no energy, knowledgable, but BORING

What about UFC 61? I didn't even know Couture was there, he hardly made his presents felt. Goldberg puts me to sleep and is not that knowledgable.
Not even a contest, hands down it's Quadros and Bas.
Dunno what PRIDE you saw where Quadros and Bas were extremely boring. Quadros and Bas are the 2 most knowledgable commentators in the sport, they are always announcing what the fighter is going to do next or should do next. They amped and very vocal when strikes land, KO's, subs, reversals, transitions, etc.
I enjoy watching that duo more than any other by far.
For me UFC 61 was missing Rogan, I really hope Randy does not take over Rogan's job, that would be bad IMO. Yes Randy is very knowledgable as is Rogan but at least with Rogan he is loud when someone gets cracked, I didn't hear much from Randy the entire night. I would not mind Goldberg, Randy and Rogan, that would be pretty good actually.
Where else can you hear "WELL ROUNDED SKILLS" and "HE'S ROCKED" all night long?

Granted, I haven't seen alot of Pride, probably about 6or 7 PPV's over time, and each one I find Bas and Quatros almost lifeless.......not so much Bas....I agree both are a wealth of knowledge, I just don't get any energy or excitement from them....certainly not at the energy level of Rogan and Goldberg...
Just my opinion and preference.

I gotta go with Bas, Mir, and The Smashing Machine Mark Kerr. I've heard him do alright in KOTC.
Bas Rutten could totally suck at commentating, but his accent cracks me the fuck up.

I hate both Goldberg and Rogan, there boring they go through spurts of silence, they dont talk about the actual fights enough either. So replacing with anyone would be good for me.
